Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen.
Upon arrival at Tangier Airport or Port, meet your guide and begin your journey to the picturesque mountain town of Chefchaouen. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, this enchanting town is known for its blue-painted streets and serene atmosphere. Enjoy dinner and overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fes.
Travel south to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the nearby holy town of Moulay Idriss. Continue onward to Fes, where you’ll enjoy a panoramic introduction to the city. Overnight in a charming riad in the medina.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt.
After a guided medina tour in Fes, head into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” and stroll through cedar forests home to wild Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert.
Pass through dramatic mountain landscapes and the lush Ziz Valley on your way to Merzouga. Upon arrival, ride a camel through the dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend the night under the stars in a Berber-style desert camp with local music.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley.
Visit Rissani’s traditional market, then journey to the towering cliffs of Todra Gorges. End the day in Dades Valley, known for its lush landscapes and kasbahs. Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse.
Day 6: Dades – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.
Travel through the Rose Valley and the Skoura oasis before visiting the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Continue over the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech by evening.
