6 Days from Tanger to Marrakech, Departure from Tangier to Chefchaouen, we cross the mountains of Rif, Tetoun. We will enjoy the view of the Rif Mountains. We arrive at Chefchaouan where we will spend this night in a hotel
Drop off towards Volubilis, where we explore the ruins of Romain. Then we head to Meknes for this heritage of the 17th century. After lunch, we will explore the historic medina, as well as Bab el Mansour and Moulay Ismail sanctuary. Then we will go to Fez, where we will spend the night in a local riad.
Visit the city of Fez, walking through its streets and small streets. Our visit begins with the visit of the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish seat, the first Mellah built in Morocco, built in the 16th century. We will make sure that you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the cooperative tiles and discover a magnificent panoramic view of the entire medina of Fez. night in your hotel.
Departure to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will travel through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge, admiring the view of the High Atlas plateau, you will notice how the landscape changes to reveal clues of the desert approaching the city of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality. Then you will travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for a panoramic view of Erfoud and Rissani. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. You will have a camel ride to a camp where you will spend the night in the desert camp with Berber music and sand board.
We will get up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes before returning to the hotel by camels for breakfast and shower. Later, we will drive through the mountains. We will arrive at the Todra Gorge where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and take a short walk through the gorge before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast, we will cross the Dades valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley is the route of the thousand Kasbahs. Offering many opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots. We will stop at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou for lunch, the largest kasbah in Morocco. After that, we will cross the high mountains of the atlas with panoramic views and pretty Berber villages all the way to Marrakech.
