Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga.

Begin your desert adventure with an early pick-up from your accommodation in Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane — known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” — and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to the Barbary macaques. After a lunch stop in Midelt, continue through the scenic Ziz Valley with its dramatic gorges and palm-filled oases. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon. From here, set off on a camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under a starlit sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate.

Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. Continue your journey through Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s current royal family, and drive toward the impressive Todra Gorges — a paradise for climbers and nature lovers. After a scenic lunch break, pass through the beautiful Valley of Roses and the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight in a traditional Riad or hotel.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.

After breakfast, visit the iconic Taourirt Kasbah and the nearby film studios of Ouarzazate. Next, explore the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and backdrop to many films. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, taking in panoramic views, before arriving in Marrakech where your tour concludes.
