Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen.
Upon arrival in Tangier (airport or port), meet your private driver-guide and begin your journey into the Rif Mountains. Reach the magical Chefchaouen, Morocco’s iconic “Blue City.” Explore its medina, discover the 15th-century Kasbah, and relax in Place Outa el Hammam surrounded by charming cafés and mountain views. Overnight in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes.
After breakfast, travel south to Fes, one of the world’s best-preserved medieval cities. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through its bustling medina. Visit the Royal Palace, the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), artisan tanneries, and the University of Al-Qarawiyyin—the oldest in the world. Experience the city’s rich spiritual and intellectual atmosphere. Overnight in a beautiful riad.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert.
Depart Fes toward the Sahara Desert, passing through the mountain town of Ifrane (known for its alpine charm) and the cedar forests of Azrou, where wild monkeys roam. Continue via Midelt and the lush Ziz Valley, before arriving in Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Mount your camel and journey across the golden sands at sunset. Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate.
Wake early for a stunning desert sunrise before breakfast. Head west through the towns of Rissani and Tinghir, then explore the towering rock walls of the Todra Gorges. Continue through the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and kasbahs, before arriving in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Overnight in a comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech.
Visit the world-famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for numerous movies. Day 6: Marrakech – Departure.
